On April 20, 2012, on the occasion of its parallel participation at the 30th edition of Art Brussels Fair, DROME opened for the first time the doors of its project space in the heart of Brussels. Thanks to the renewed collaboration with Rome-based The Gallery Apart, DROME has given life to a manifesto-show titled “Not Afraid of Beauty”, a site-specific exhibition project with which DROME has celebrated, during an exclusive toast, its brand new born cross-culture project space. The candid loft in the late 19th century ex perfume factory, which has been already the location of the magazine’s editorial office, has hosted for three days the artworks by Italian artists Diego Iaia, Luana Perilli and Marco Strappato.
