Here’s an opportunity of living the very high society opening of the most followed visual art Bienniale by another point of view. A mental and spatial perspective with a really social approach and a little post-situationist flair. During the opening days of the 55th International Art Exhibition, Studio Public, DROME magazine and Slow Food Venice will present Tana Liberi Tutti.
From 29th May to 2nd June 2013, the Caritas di San Martino soup kitchen is going to host an event that aims to involve the refectory’s guests, the citizens and those in the know about contemporary art through workshops, shows and gastronomic experimentations.
Placed in Campo della Tana, just a stone’s throw from Arsenale, the Venetian Caritas soup kitchen will become the location of remarks on food and art, and beyond. There are different purposes: firstly, to redesign the refectory’s interiors, thanks to the collaboration of its consumers, turning them into key players of an innovative creative project. The program includes also a photographic workshop – which shoots will be exhibited -, a writing workshop that will end with a performance, the garden modification by Canedicoda and Andrea Magnani (REsign), and the interior space modernization by Studio Bartoletti and Cicognani. About cooking, the chef Galdino Zara is going to offer the Venetian traditional recipes both to the refectory’s consumers and to the Biennale’s visitors. Then, there will be also a guided tour of the Art Biennale and the collateral event Orto Balera. We’re waiting for you!
